Role Overview: Reporting in to the UK Commercial Director you will be responsible for the profitable development of key Licensees and Retail Channels across a portfolio of WW Branded products


Key Skills/Competencies:


  • Implement overall food commercial strategy into Core Licensee group and Retail channel.
  • Agree, and execute, annual business plans & forecasts with licensees by product category to include plans for retail distribution, sales growth, NPD and brand support, reviewing & measuring performance.
  • Build outstanding relationships & maintain close liaison with existing licensees to form a trusted alliance.
  • Build commercial structure to the business planning process with licensees.
  • Instigate & lead all commercial negotiations.
  • Build a pipeline of new products, categories and licensees to grow the WWGB licensing business.
  • Develop retailer channel plans for the food range, working on range across supermarkets, convenience, discounters and online.
  • Work closely with the WW Category Manager and Licensees category teams to build category arguments for new listings, distribution points and product development.
  • Attend retailer meetings with licensees where required.
  • Measurement of KPIs within the business plan and feedback to licensees via regular business review meetings
  • Monthly revenue analysis and forecasting in conjunction with the licensees delivered through reports completed by licensees
  • Maintain license agreements working alongside internal legal counsel
  • Work closely with WW Consumer Products team to ensure that all products are compliant with the No Artificial ingredients policy at WW.
  • Work closely with the Licensee Marketing teams, WW Commercial Marketing Manager and internal WW teams to market the Licensed range to grow the retail sales value of the WW brand.


Skills & Experience


  • Excellent negotiation & presentation skills
  • Key /National Account management experience – ideally FMCG
  • Proven track record of delivering results against commercial KPIs
  • Astute commercial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal & professional relationship building skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing & fast moving market conditions
  • Business or Marketing degree
  • Experience in product development & management
  • Previous experience with licensing/franchise partners is preferable
  • High energy, enthusiasm & passion for change together with a burning desire to make a  positive difference
  • Ideally educated to Business or Marketing degree level
  • Empathetic to the needs of our Members and Consumers
