Role Overview:

Responsible for all aspects of the reporting required to support the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) line of business, within the wider Health Solutions team in the UK. Lead all reporting outputs of each STP NDPP area, covering the operational reporting requirements both internal and external. The objective of the role is to manage and present all results to NHS England using NHS England prescribed data sets delivered in line with agreed deadlines. Key aspects of the role includes leading  on the collection of wider Insights both quantitative and qualitative; including service user experience which puts service users at the heart of everything we do. The Reporting Manager will also manage a team of Health Solutions Coordinators.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and responsibility to ensure that all data collection and reporting for all contracts and agreements are undertaken in an accurate manner, in line with GDPR and strict data compliance.
  • Manage the production and secure delivery of all data reports and ensure compliance with GDPR
  • Create solutions to ensure complete data sets are submitted consistently working across functions to develop solutions where required
  • Develop solutions for reporting including ensuring accuracy of information, developing metrics and presenting findings to NHS England 
  • Present analysis of how individual contracts and the service as a whole is performing, highlighting areas e.g. service, retention and working with the DPP Account Manager and Senior Health Solutions Manager to evolve solutions.
  • Manage routine collection of participant feedback evaluating the results and reporting to NHS England; embed key learnings into service improvement 
  • Manage routine collection of all minimum dataset requirements including collection and evaluation of physical activity data (RPAQ)
  • Support the development of presentations and reports on performance
  • Support Senior National Health Solutions manager in driving insight and analysis reporting ensuring a full service user Insights process which incorporates NHS best practice.


Key Skills/Competencies:

  • Proven, successful experience (Minimum of 3 years) in data management 
  • Experience of managing people preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrate a high level of operational maturity, management confidence, judgement and assurance and engagement across the organisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills especially the ability to work within a team
  • Knowledge and experience of NHS data systems and reporting preferable but not essential.
